Don't forget "October 3th at New England Martial Arts" Action Hero Photo.
Yesterday she asked me if she was "dreaming" as she carried her crisply folded new uniform into house. Today she recieved gear bag and struggled through 45 minute lesson with mouthguard. When lesson ended, she removed guard only to sip water and then put on again. How quickly they get comfortable in gear! Then she spent 30 minutes painstakingly changing clothes and cautiously folding her uniform. She confidently refused help and persevered with self discipline to pack all her gear carefully. Then my 50lbs 5 year old carried her own bag around lobby while I spoke to Master Red and all the way to the car. Lessons are two-part teaching self-help skills both on and off the mat!
My son has been training with Master Cooper for 9 months. In that time, he has developed his confidence, respect for himself and others, discipline, self-control, and perseverance, in addition to learning all of the actual Martial Arts skills. Master Cooper leads by example with his hard work and integrity. He is devoted to his students and spends time getting to know each of them. Signing our son up for the introductory session was one of the best decisions we made all year.
My daughter loves taking classes at New England Martial Arts. Master Cooper has her learning while having fun! He stresses discipline and teaches them respect. She has built confidence and competiveness. My child has a lot of energy and this helps channel it in a good way. The classes have several instructors helping him so the classes have small student to instructor ratio. Red runs the front and can answer any and all of your questions she is great. I recommend everyone to have their kids try it! They just might love it too!
